A brand new dinner show will soon be sailing to Pigeon Forge, TN! It was recently announced that Dolly Parton has plans to open a second Pirates Voyage location in the Great Smoky Mountains. Themed around adventures on the high seas, Pirates Voyage has been a hugely popular attraction in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for almost a decade. The new theater in Pigeon Forge will join two other Parton-owned dinner shows in the Smokies, along with the famous Dollywood theme park. In the official press release announcing the big news, Dolly Parton explained why Pirates Voyage is finally coming ashore to Pigeon Forge:
“The show has been so successful in Myrtle Beach that we kept looking at Pigeon Forge and wondering why we didn’t already have a Pirates show there. We have the perfect location, in one of the hottest areas of Pigeon Forge, and the time is now for my pirates to stake claim to the Great Smoky Mountains!”
What to Expect at Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage
Dolly Parton’s Pirate Voyage will run at a brand new theater adjacent to The Island in Pigeon Forge. The venue will consist of a 21,000 square foot arena with two full-sized pirate ships in a 15-foot-deep indoor lake.
The epic show stars the Crimson and Sapphire pirate crews, who battle for lost treasure on land, on deck, in the water, and in the sky. The legendary pirate Captain Blackbeard and his quartermaster Calico Jack take center stage in this fun story, which features exhilarating acrobatic competitions, amazing stunts, and live animals. All of the action is set to an original music score composed by Dolly Parton and Mark Brymer.
While they watch the show, guests will enjoy a mouthwatering five-course pirate feast. If the Pigeon Forge menu is the same as the Myrtle Beach one, the feast will include:
- Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup
- Buccaneer Bread
- Half O’ Roasted Cackler (Chicken)
- Captain BBQ Pork
- Cob O’ Buttery
- Pirate Herb-basted Potato
- Apple O’ Me Eye Pie
- Unlimited Coca-Cola, tea, or coffee

Opening Date for Dolly Parton’s Pirates Voyage
