Spaghetti made out of ice cream

Mom always said you couldn’t have ice cream for dinner, but what about spaghetti for dessert? Along with delicious house-made sauces, hand-cut fries and juicy authentic German-style bratwursts, Poynor’s Pommes Frites brings guests a unique twist on dessert. Spaghetti ice is a German-style ice cream made to look like a plate of spaghetti when served. The noodle-like effect on the dessert comes from running the ice cream through a potato ricer, or potato press, before serving.

Poynor’s Pommes Frites serves guests classic favorite menu items with a unique twist. It’s most popular menu item, the pommes frites, also known as french fries, are served in plentiful orders and accompanied with house-made sauces including wasabi mayo, peppercorn and cheese. Here the fries are cut fresh in-house and are sure to not disappoint.

While there, don’t forget to try one of the Pigeon Forge restaurant’s bratwurst. Served on an authentic German roll, Poynor’s Pommes Frites’s brats have become a fast-growing popular menu item among both locals and tourists in the area.

Poynor’s Pommes Frites is located inside the Island in Pigeon Forge. One of the newest attractions in Pigeon Forge, the Island is best known for it’s great-tasting Pigeon Forge restaurants, unique shops and a 200-foot modern day Ferris wheel.

The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel consists of 42 all-inclosed, glass gondolas that take guests on a rotating aerial tour of the Great Smoky Mountains. At night the Wheel lights up to give visitors a spectacular LED light show that can be seen for miles around.
