Best known for winning season 12 of The Voice, Blue is a phenomenal singer whose music blends R&B, soul, gospel, and pop. Read on to learn everything you need to know about Chris Blue and the award-winning Smoky Mountain Opry Christmas Show.

About Chris Blue

Chris Blue is no stranger to the Smoky Mountains because he grew up in the nearby city of Knoxville, having moved to East Tennessee when he was 10 years old. Believe it or not, Chris’s brother, who is also a musician, actually appeared in the Smoky Mountain Opry Show a number of years ago! Chris told the media, “My brother, Julius, played keyboard at the Smoky Mountain Opry Theater and we came to watch him and I never thought I would have the opportunity to sing here one day in this magnificent theater and now that day has come.”

Chris Blue came to prominence in 2017 when he auditioned for The Voice, the popular singing contest on NBC. As the last competitor in the Blind Auditions, Blue wowed the judges and was chosen by Alicia Keys for her team. Blue went on to win the season, pocketing $100,000 in prize money and a recording contract. You can watch Chris’s moving audition for The Voice here:
