Fall is one of the most beautiful times of year in the Great Smoky Mountains. The air begins to carry a slight chill, the sun hangs a bit lower in the sky, and the trees come to life with vibrantly colored leaves.

Along with the rustic beauty as far as the eye can see, fall is also filled with many fun and exciting activities that will keep visitors entertained. One of the biggest hosts for fall festivities is Dollywood. As part of their seasonal Harvest Celebration, this year Dollywood will be showcasing the talent of both skilled crafters and southern gospel performers throughout the park for all guests to enjoy.

Gospel performances run throughout the month of October, and the final performances are set to take the stage on November 2. Notable performers this year include The Perrys, Guy Penrod and The Issacs. All concert prices are included with Dollywood’s price of admission.

Skilled crafters coming to the Smokies are traveling as far as from Texas. Hand sculpted creations include paper marbling, rope making, loom weaving, wood art and more.
