Nothing beats cooling off on a hot summer day than at Dollywood Splash Country. With rides ranging from a lazy river to an exciting hydromagnetic water coaster, Families may need a little help deciding what to bring for their day in the sun.
Change of Clothes
Keep in mind only swimsuits are allowed on the rides at Dollywood Splash Country. This means that any clothing with buckles, denim, corduroy or cutoffs are not allowed while riding the rides. Additionally, shirts are not allowed on any water slide, no exception. A way to enjoy the day playing in the water, but still be comfortable on your ride back to your Pigeon Forge cabin is to make sure that your family brings a change of clothes for when you are ready to leave. Dollywood Splash Country provide lockers that guests can rent to store items like cell phones, change of clothes, and such so they don’t have to carry them around all day. Also, don’t forget to bring a towel, or purchase one from one of the gift shops to help you dry off quicker!
Sunscreen
Sunscreen is the most important thing for every family to remember when visiting Dollywood Splash Country. Sunscreen is the best way for families to protect against the possibility of skin damage from the sun, and it eliminates the risk of getting a nasty sunburn the next day. Remember that you will be in and out of water all day, so it is important to remember to bring a sunscreen that says ‘waterproof’, as well as remember to reapply it every few hours throughout the day.
Waterproof Bag
In case you or your family want to grab a bite to eat or pick up a souvenir to remember the fun-filled day you all shared at Dollywood Splash Country, You may want to bring a waterproof bag to keep some money in. Keep in mind you can’t bring large bags with you on the ride, so you’ll want the bag to be small enough to fit into the pocket of a swimsuit. Splash Country also offers guests a service called Sunny Money. It works just like cash, purchase a Sunny Money wristband at any merchandise in the park and enjoy a day free from the hassle of worrying about keeping up with money.
