Two Hot Tuesdays
Splash Country’s Mountain Waves will have some great entertainment this season! On Tuesday afternoons, the water park’s 25,000-square-foot wave pool will feature a talented DJ who will spin tracks and keep the party going for three hours. What could be more relaxing than floating on an inner tube, listening to music, and soaking up the sun? Two Hot Tuesdays will run from noon – 3 p.m. every Tuesday from May 22 – June 26, 2018.
Shorter Wait Times
Dollywood’s Splash Country is promising shorter wait times for the 2018 season. The water park hopes to speed up the lines with the addition of self-serve ticket kiosks. Guests can also take advantage of Splash Country’s TimeSaver H2O pass , which lets users cut out 90% of their wait time.
More Opportunities for Relaxing
While their kids enjoy the water park’s wet and wild fun, many adults like to kick back and unwind at Splash Country. We’re pleased to report that the park has added more shaded areas and new lounge chairs throughout the grounds. Splash Country is also offering Luxury Loungers for rent along with Retreats and Canopies, so guests can be extra comfortable.
Trailhead Tacos
Lunch at Trailhead Tacos is the perfect way to spice up your visit to Splash Country. This new eatery at the water park will feature all of your Tex-Mex favorites. We can’t wait to sink our teeth into one of Trailhead’s mouthwatering tacos or burritos this season!
Dollywood’s Splash Country also announced a number of other culinary additions to eateries at the park. Guests can now enjoy loaded tater tots and a Cookie Dough Dream-flavored milkshake.
New BeaverTail Flavor: MoonPie
BeaverTails are far and away the most popular treats at Dollywood’s Splash Country. Made from hand-stretched whole wheat dough smothered with your choice of toppings, these unique pastries originated in Canada. Splash Country is one of just five places where you can buy BeaverTails in the United States!
This season, the water park is introducing a brand new MoonPie-flavored BeaverTail. For the uninitiated, a MoonPie is a beloved dessert sold throughout the South made with graham crackers, marshmallow filling, and a chocolate coating. The new MoonPie flavor joins other irresistible BeaverTail varieties like Reese’s Pieces & Peanut Butter and Cinnamon & Sugar.
Coca-Cola Freestyle Machines
Dollywood’s Splash Country has added a number of Coca-Cola Freestyle machines to the park. These state-of-the-art touch screen soda fountains feature 165 different Coca-Cola beverages and allow users to mix their own flavors.
Aquatic Wheelchairs
To make the water park more accessible to guests with disabilities, Splash Country is adding aquatic wheelchairs and adult changing tables. These additions build upon an initiative started last summer, when the water park introduced special tubes that are designed for guests with limited mobility. In a press release, a representative for the park explained , “It is Dollywood’s Splash Country’s desire to make the water park fun for everyone, and simple additions like aquatic wheelchairs can make a big difference for families who have never been able to enjoy water attractions before.”
