Cades Cove is one of the most peaceful locations in the Smoky Mountains. Home to several historic home sites and playful wildlife, there is no question as to why so many families make a trip to the scenic spot every year.

The one problem, however, is because Cades Cove is so secluded and tucked away, it can sometimes be a challenge if visitors accidentally leave something behind because there isn’t a store or modern retailer close by. However, this may not be the case much longer!
Sources connected with Cades Cove announced today that retail giant WalMart will soon be opening up a brand new store in the area. What might be at first seem unprecedented, the source sites that officials are excited for the many benefits the new store will bring.
“We know Cades Cove has always been known as being a more historic area, but we really feel as if this is the perfect time to introduce a little bit of the modern times to the area, and what better introduction is there than the store that offers everything modern?” said a spokesperson for the development.
Location
The location of the new store will be located just before the John Oliver Cabin on the Cades Cove Loop Road. Although the building will not be as large as the typical supercenters, this WalMart will still carry many essential travel necessities, such as suntan lotion, office supplies, candles, and furniture. The new shop will be a beta test of the retail giant’s new Rustic Center’s brand.
Opening
