One of the best places to take in the views is on the deck of your cabin! We have beautiful cabin rentals that offer mountain views or river views for you to enjoy. Gather on the deck and relax in a rocking chair with a cup of coffee as you stare at the scenery, or soak in the bubbling hot tub as you watch the sunset at the end of the day. You can even cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen or on the grill and dine with a view outside at the table on your deck!
2. Glass Windows
Many of our cabins have cathedral windows or large glass windows that allow you to enjoy the view from the comfort of inside your cabin. If the weather is too chilly to be outside, curl up in front of the fireplace and take in the scenery through the window. Wherever you turn, you can look out the window and admire a view of the mountains.
3. Gather Around the Fire Pit
Another way to see breathtaking views when you stay in our Smoky Mountain cabin rentals is by gathering around the fire pit! This is the perfect thing to do in the evenings. Not only will the fire feel great as the temperature starts to cool down, but nothing will compare to the sunset view. As the sun starts to set, it casts a beautiful glow behind the mountains. 4. Great Smoky Mountain Wheel
If you want to venture into town to catch the views, head to The Island in Pigeon Forge to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel . This 200-foot wheel offers spectacular views of Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains. You’ll ride in a glass gondola that seats up to 8 people, so they whole family can enjoy the experience together! 5. Gatlinburg Space Needle
The Gatlinburg Space Needle is another great place to see the sights. You’ll ride in a glass elevator to the top of the observation tower, where you’ll be able to see a 360-degree view of Gatlinburg from more than 400 feet in the air. You can visit during the day or at night to see the town twinkling with lights.
6. Anakeesta
Anakeesta is one of Gatlinburg’s newest attractions and has many opportunities for visitors to admire the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. You can ride in a scenic Chondola that takes you up 600 feet to the summit of Anakeesta Mountain, do the Tree Canopy Walk and cross 16 sky bridges that have observation platforms where you can take in the view, or relax in Firefly Village as you watch the mist roll out of the mountains early in the day. There is even a special spot for you to take a selfie with the Smoky Mountains in the backdrop!
7. Gatlinburg Sky Lift
Another way to enjoy the scenery is to ride the Gatlinburg Sky Lift ! The sky lift allows you to see lush forest and mountain views. You’ll ride 1,800 feet in the air to the top of Crockett Mountain before turning around the wheel and experiencing an exhilarating ride back down. This is a popular activity for all guests visiting Gatlinburg, from couples, to families, to groups of friends.
8. Go Ziplining
If you’re looking for an adventurous way to take in the views, go ziplining!
