One of the most convenient (and scenic) ways to get to Ober Gatlinburg is the Aerial Tramway. This cable car takes guests from downtown Gatlinburg up a mountain all the way to the resort. With breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains and the city of Gatlinburg, this ride is well worth the money.
Stay cool at Ober’s ice skating rink.
Although you might associate ice skating with wintertime, it’s also a great way to beat the heat in the summer months. Ober’s ice rink has over 400 pairs of skates for rent, so there’s no need to start digging through your closet to find your long-lost ice skates. Skating at Ober is excellent value: a 3-hour session including skate rental only costs $9 per person!
