Grassy view of Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park

Are you looking for ways to save money on a vacation to the Smoky Mountains? We want to help you save as much money as possible, so we’ve put together a few ways to help.

Experience the National Park

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park welcomes over 9 million visitors per year. And to make it even better…it’s completely free. Spend a day or two hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. You can stop in to Sugarlands Visitor Center to see a short film about the national park, and tour a museum of the park, for free. Visitors can take the Gatlinburg Bypass to Sugarlands Visitor Center.

Use the Trolley Service

Instead of driving from place to place in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, go ahead and park your car and catch a ride on a Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge trolley. The trolley service is available to anyone in the area, and is a super cheap way to avoid parking fees! The trolleys offer passes for full-day transportation, for just a couple of dollars. This way, you can get on and off the trolley as often as you’d like, without any extra charge.

Many people park and walk along the Parkways. It’s a great way to include a little exercise in your vacation while taking in the fresh mountain air.

Use Free Attraction Tickets

When you stay with Timber Tops Luxury Cabin Rentals, each cabin will receive a luxury pass. Each cabin will receive 1 free admission to each attraction, per unit, per paid night stay. To see which attractions are included in the deal, click here.
