Dim the lights. Turn the cell phones off. Pop the popcorn. It’s finally time to enjoy some peace and quiet and watch a movie with your family! 1. Choose a Pigeon Forge cabin with the perfect theater room.

Our theater rooms come equipped with big-screen televisions and plush, luxurious seating for the entire family. Our cabins are even better than going to the movie theater, because there are no crowds, no tickets, and after the show you can step outside and enjoy the cool, crisp air of the Great Smoky Mountains!

2. Pick a movie everyone will enjoy.

When there is a big age difference between your kids it can be hard to choose a movieeveryone will like. We suggest picking an animated movie like the newest Disney/Pixar release or a classic family film like Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. These movies are appropriate for children of all ages, but older kids and parents will enjoy them too. A great trick is to narrow down movie options to a few films and let your kids vote on which one they want to watch.

3. Make lots of snacks.

No family night at the movies would be complete without some tasty snacks. Besides the standard S’mores that everyone loves to make as much as they love to eat it, don’t forget to pop your favorite popcorn. Add a little twist of taco sauce to spice up your popcorn, or sprinkle some Parmesan cheese along with your favorite seasonings.
