There’s nothing like Independence Day in the Great Smoky Mountains! If you’re going to be in the area for America’s Birthday, the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival is a can’t miss event. The famous country group Lonestar will headline a day full of music, food, and (of course) fireworks. Read on to learn everything you need to know about celebrating July 4th in Pigeon Forge.

When is the 2014 Patriot Festival?
The Patriot Festival will be held on July 4th. The fun will start at 1:00 p.m. with a Kids’ Carnival, complete with inflatable playhouses and games. Musical entertainment will start at 1:30 p.m. and continue until around 9:30 p.m.
Where is the Patriot Festival in Pigeon Forge?
The Patriot Festival will be held at Patriot Park, located at 186 Old Mill Avenue, Pigeon Forge TN 37863. You’ll find Patriot Park at traffic light #7. To get turn by turn directions, check out this map:
Where should I park for the Patriot Festival?
We recommend parking at the Municipal Parking facility and taking a free Pigeon Forge trolley ride to Patriot Park. This 1,500 space lot is located at 2936 Teaster Lane. You can see the parking lot on the map above.
Does the Patriot Festival cost money to attend?
Admission is completely free! However, there will be numerous vendors at the park if you want to buy something.
Who will be performing at the 2014 Patriot Festival?
The acclaimed country band Lonestar is the special guest at this year’s Patriot Festival. You can expect to hear their Top 10 hits including, “Amazed,” “My Front Porch Looking In,” and “No News”.
The Patriot Festival will also host awesome local groups, including the Tim Kellar Band, Adkins & Loudermilk, and Sons of Sailors (a Jimmy Buffett tribute band).
What sort of food will there be?
There will be lots of food vendors serving up burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, shaved ice,and other summertime treats. A portion of food sales will go to Smoky Mountain charities, so be sure to come hungry!
When are the Pigeon Forge fireworks?
The festival will conclude with an excellent fireworks display around 9:30 p.m. With every color imaginable, and plenty of bursts and blasts, the Pigeon Forge fireworks never disappoint!
