Dolly will be hosting a special concert in Knoxville on May 28, 2014 near Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge to benefit her child literacy program, the Imagination Library. The world-wide program was launched as the singer’s effort to ensure that all children would have age-appropriate books.

Since the Imagination Library’s launch in 1996, more than 40,000,000 books have been given to 700,000 children. The program was proudly started in Sevier County and has greatly improved childhood literacy across the region and around the world.
On May 13, the singer will also release the Blue Smoke album in North America. The album has already reached #1 on country and all-genre charts in Australia and New Zealand.
